Just got back from shooting videos in beautiful Laguna Beach, California. It was so nice to be unplugged for a couple of days.

Though – it was not supposed to be a trip where I was able to unplug. The hotel I stayed at was supposed to have free wifi well it turns out their “free wifi” was virtually non-existent. So, I made the most of it and attempted to stay off the internet – it was liberating. And it got me thinking – it’s no wonder that business owners face social media overwhelm.

As business owners we are constantly connected and feel the need to be because there are so many ways for us to interact with customers, fans and each other. To name a few Email, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, Vine, Reddit, Imgur, the list does in fact continue.  Further more, we desire our businesses to grow so we want to attract new fans and turn them into customers and we know the way to do that is via social media.

So the question becomes, how can we have healthy social media that doesn’t overwhelm us and that explodes our business?

And more importantly…

Do we really have to be on all the social networks constantly connect with your market through social media in order to make an impact in our market?

Listen in to today’s new Daring Entrepreneur podcast and find out.

In the podcast I cover six cures for overwhelm that is comes from unhealthy social media management.

Now I’m curious… In the comments below, I dare you to tell me: Do you ever feel pressure to be constantly connected on social media? Even more than you’d like to be?
